Zack Williams Shoots "Pranksta"

We went back into production again on "The Halloween Pranksta" this past week. Animator Zack Williams joined the crew for an intense week of stop motion animation. We are in the home stretch, only two more scenes to shoot!

New Feature Film, "Arkon Games"

Designing the make up FX for a feature film to be shot this summer. And as it is always, we start with a life cast. This time, actor Christopher Rivera goes under the algenate. When he comes out, what will he be?

The Spring semester of teaching at School of Visual Arts has come to an end. My hat is off to a great bunch of students and the awesome work they created in my undergrad “Sets & Props” class, my “Body Casting” class ,and my Continuing Education “Specialty Costuming” class. Pictured here is just one sample of their work.

"Pranksta" Production begins again in April!

Come April 7th, co-producers Matt Manning and Carl Paolino begin possibly the

last three weeks of film production on their epic stop motion animated film.

Here is another life cast that the students from my "Body Casting" class created. This time, using a body-safe silicone. As you can see, they had fun.

I am teaching a brand new class at School of Visual Arts for the Continuing Education Department, it is called Specialty Costuming. Stage one is to create a Life Cast. Here is participant Sarah Wood with a torso ready for stage two; sculpting.

"Saturday Night Live"

I just completed a 25 pound slab of butter for "Saturday Night Live", and made it over-night! Silicone skin with a polyfoam inside. Delish!
