Students Impress Teacher

The Basic Make Up FX class for the Continuing Education Department has come to a close. The culmination of the class was to impress the teacher with the techniques they learned during the semester. Many students brought in their own victim (model) to work their magic on. The class turned out some really great works-of-gore! My thanks to everyone involved, it was a great semester. I hope to see you all again in the Advanced class, SVA willing.

"Splinterheads" Workshop at SVA

Attended a Producer’s Workshop at School of Visual Arts. It was moderated by the producer of “Splinterheads”, Darren Goldberg. Here’s a man who really knows the independent film industry and film market. Darren Goldberg has some great insights into the development, production, post-production and marketing of independent feature films.

NYU Advanced Student Film Project

I would like to thank Kevin English and Gloria Abrams for being part of my great make up FX team. The work they did on the Kashif Latif film project with me this week was just great. Actress Amanda Sawyer was our victim and did justice to our brutal make ups.
